TST Factory signs contract with Traffic Safety Council
The Traffic Signal Technology Factory signed a contract with Traffic Safety Council for the project to improve the response time of emergency vehicles by using traffic signal control technology in cooperation with the Emirate of Eastern Province in the presence of a committee from Eastern Amana, Traffic Department, Red Crescent, and Civil Defense.
The project is the first of its kind in the kingdom, which aims to reduce the response time to emergencies by facilitating traffic at the signals and responding to emergencies by supporting them with modern devices and equipment connected to the control units of the light signals so that they give priority to the target line of traffic without stopping and waiting.
This technology will significantly reduce the duration of these vehicles to their target and thus reduce the percentage of deaths and overall damage.
